Sendinvo vs ServiceM8

ServiceM8 is a field service app from Australia, priced by how many new jobs you take on a month, with unlimited users, texts it sends for you, timesheets, and route planning. Sendinvo is one price with no limit on jobs, issues credit notes, which ServiceM8’s help centre says it can’t, and works out CIS on the invoice.

Checked October 2026. Everything about ServiceM8 on this page is from ServiceM8’s UK pricing page, its feature pages and its help centre, each row links the page it came from so you can check it yourself, and where their pages say nothing, the row says so. Prices and plans change, so look at ServiceM8’s pricing page before you decide. ServiceM8 is a trade mark of its owner, and Sendinvo isn’t connected with it.

In short

Which one suits you

ServiceM8 suits you if

  • you issue credit notes from the same place as the invoice
  • you want your records kept to read and export after you stop paying

Questions

Good to know

How does ServiceM8’s pricing compare?

ServiceM8 charges by the number of new jobs a month, from £25 a month for 50 jobs to £269 for 1,500 or more, plus VAT, with unlimited users on paid plans and a free plan for one person and 30 jobs. Sendinvo is £24.99 a month including VAT, for the whole team, however many jobs you book.

Does ServiceM8 do CIS?

CIS isn’t stated on ServiceM8’s pages, and its help centre describes setting up the reverse charge by hand. Sendinvo works out the CIS deduction on the labour lines and prints the reverse charge wording on the invoice.

What does ServiceM8 do that Sendinvo doesn’t?

It sends texts for you, keeps automatic timesheets, plans routes, tracks staff location, takes online bookings, and has forms and job profitability on its higher plans. Sendinvo has none of those.

Can I bring my ServiceM8 clients and invoices over?

Yes, through your books. ServiceM8’s help centre describes no invoice export, but it sends each approved invoice to Xero or QuickBooks Online with its client, materials and payments. Connecting the same books to Sendinvo brings them in, paid and unpaid. Your client list exports as a CSV with the Advanced Reporting Pack add-on, and your materials from Settings › Materials as an Excel file, for Sendinvo’s Import. Sendinvo matches the columns and you check each one. Jobs, quotes, notes, photos and each payment’s own record stay in ServiceM8. Nothing is sent to your clients, and each import can be undone for 30 days.

Which phones does each app run on?

The Sendinvo app is available on the App Store for iPhone and iPad, and there’s no Android app yet. ServiceM8 has apps for iPhone, iPad and Android.

What happens to my records if I stop paying?

With Sendinvo nothing is deleted: everything stays to read, and Export everything gives you one zip of spreadsheets, PDFs, and photos. ServiceM8’s help centre says cancelling deletes the account and its data.
