Schedule

Every visit in one place, and the client told when you’re coming

The Schedule lists your visits day by day under a week strip, or shows one day by the hour. Book a visit on a job for the morning, the afternoon, all day, or a set time, and Sendinvo emails the client to say when you’re coming. Move it and they hear that too.

30 days of everything, free. No card needed.

Today, morning Boiler service, Patel
Today, 2pm to 4pm New radiator, Okafor
Thursday, all day Bathroom first fix, Hughes
Friday, afternoon Bathroom second fix, Hughes
A heating engineer’s next few days. Morning and afternoon are your own hours, set once in your company settings.
How it works

Book it, and the client hears from you

1

Book a visit

Press Book a visit on the Schedule and choose the job, or book from the job itself. Pick the day and when you’ll arrive: the morning, the afternoon, all day, or a set time and how long it takes.

2

The client is told

Sendinvo emails the client who’s coming, when, and where. If it doesn’t suit, they reply. Untick the box if you’d rather tell them yourself.

3

Move it if you need to

Plans change. Move the visit to another day or time and the client gets a second email saying what it was and what it is now.

4

Start and finish

On the day, start the visit when you arrive and finish it when you leave. The job moves from Booked to In progress to Ready to invoice as you go.

What it does

What the Schedule looks after

A clash

Two visits at once

When two visits for the same person cross on the same day, Sendinvo says so before you book and marks both on the Schedule. It warns, and leaves the choice to you.

To book

Work you’ve won, waiting for a day

Jobs with nothing booked wait under To book, so a job you’ve won doesn’t slip off the list before it has a date.

Your hours

Morning and afternoon mean yours

Out of the box, morning is 9am to 1pm and afternoon is 1pm to 5pm. Change them once and every visit and every client email uses your hours.

On a team

Who’s going

Once there’s more than one of you, each visit is assigned to someone, the client’s email names them, and the Schedule shows everyone, just you, or one person at a time.

Questions

Good to know

Does the client get an email for every visit?

Yes, when you book a visit or move one, unless you untick the box or the client has no email address. It comes in your company’s name, says when you’re coming and where, and asks them to reply if it doesn’t suit.

Can I book two visits at the same time?

Yes. Sendinvo warns you when two visits for the same person overlap, and marks them on the Schedule, but it never refuses the booking. Sometimes you mean to.

Can a visit run over more than one day?

Each visit is one day. For a job that takes three days, book three visits on the job, and each one goes in the Schedule on its own day.

Can I change what morning and afternoon mean?

Yes. Morning is 9am to 1pm and afternoon is 1pm to 5pm until you change them in your company settings. Every visit and every client email then uses your hours.

Book the visit, tell the client, get on with the day.
