Team accounts

Invite your team, keep control of what they can do

Bring in an admin to help run things, a member to send invoices, or a viewer who just needs to see the numbers. Each person gets a role that decides exactly what they can touch, and you can see who did what.

Your first 3 invoices are free to send, no card needed.

How it works

Send an invite, they’re working alongside you in minutes

1

Invite by email

Type their email address and choose Admin, Member, or Viewer. Sendinvo emails them a link to join.

2

They accept

New to Sendinvo, they set a password and they’re in. Already have an account, they just confirm.

3

They work inside your company

Only as far as their role allows. A Member sends invoices; a Viewer looks but can’t change anything.

4

See who did what

Once there’s more than one of you, invoice activity shows a name, not just an event: sent, paid, voided.

Roles

Four roles, from full control to look-only

Every role can see the invoices, quotes, and clients in your company. What changes is who can create, send, and change things, and who can manage the team and billing.

One per company

Owner

Full access, plus the only person who can cancel the subscription, transfer ownership, or delete the company. No one else can remove the owner or change their role.

Runs things day to day

Admin

Everything the owner can do, day to day: company settings, billing, inviting and managing the team. Can’t cancel the subscription, transfer ownership, or delete the company.

Does the invoicing

Member

Creates, sends, and manages invoices, quotes, credit notes, and clients. Can’t reach company settings, billing, or team management.

Free, look only

Viewer

Sees everything, changes nothing. Free, and doesn’t count as a paid seat, so a bookkeeper or accountant can have their own login at no extra cost.

Billing

£10 a month per seat, Viewers free

It’s £10 a month if it’s just you, same as it’s always been. Invite an Admin or a Member and each one is another paid seat on your subscription. Invite a Viewer and it costs nothing extra: as many as you like, because they can only look.

Removing someone drops the seat

Remove an Admin or a Member, or they leave, and your subscription’s seat count drops with them. Access ends straight away either way.

More than one company

Belong to more than one Sendinvo company, whether you own a second business or someone else has invited you to theirs, and a switcher in the sidebar moves you between them.

Worked example

What a small team costs

Oakfield Joinery, growing from one person to three
Priya, Owner £10 a month
Invites Tom as Admin, to help run the books +£10 a month
Invites their accountant as a free Viewer £20 a month total

Two paid seats, one free Viewer. The accountant sees every invoice and never touches the bill.

Questions

Good to know

How much does it cost to add someone to my team?

£10 a month for each Admin or Member you add, on top of your own seat. Viewers, who can look but not change anything, are free, and you can add as many as you like.

What’s the difference between the roles?

Owner and Admin can do almost everything, including managing the team and billing; only the Owner can cancel the subscription, transfer ownership, or delete the company. Member can create, send, and manage invoices, quotes, credit notes, and clients, but can’t touch company settings or billing. Viewer can see everything and change nothing.

Can I remove someone, or take away their access?

Yes. An Owner or Admin can remove anyone else, and access ends straight away. If they held a paid role, your subscription’s seat count drops with them.

Can the owner be removed, or leave?

No. The owner can’t be removed or have their role changed by anyone else, and can’t leave without transferring ownership to someone else first, or deleting the company.

Do I have to invite anyone?

No. Nothing changes if you work alone: you stay the sole Owner at £10 a month, same as always.

Bring your team in, keep the control.

Invite an admin, a member, or a free viewer, each with exactly the access their role allows.
